50GB free-for-life backup account with unlimited file retention
This desktop backup works on Windows and macOS devices. This is a lifetime account and NOT a trial.
Our storage has 11 Nines of Data Durability
99.999999999% durability of objects over any given year makes our cloud storage more than 1 million times more reliable than physical storage.
If you store your backups with us, or Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, Wasabi, Backblaze B2, statistically, you will lose only one file every 659,000 years.
You are about 411 times more likely to get hit by a meteor!
Backup all your data on any Windows or macOS desktop. This includes data on your local disks, USB disks, NAS devices, remote devices using a UNC path, and cloud storage (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc).
If you require more than 50GB of storage, you can upgrade to a PAID plan or connect your backups to any cloud storage provider.
We believe we are offering the most free cloud storage anywhere. All accounts are free-for-life and not simply trial accounts which expire after 30 days. You do not need to buy anything else to get the full 50GB cloud storage.
What is our cloud storage service?
To better understand what we are providing and what cloud storage means, we need to look at what the ‘cloud’ means.
The free cloud storage service is a basic entry into cloud backup and online backup, both of which are explained here in our blog
We provide every type of cloud storage, sync and backup for any Window, Linux, Mac, and mobile device. We specialise in providing these services to other service providers, so they don’t need to invest time in developing and maintaining their own backup business because we do it all for them.
There are loads of services which allow you to restore data back to a failed device. Similar names to cloud storage are, online backup, cloud backup, online storage, file sharing, file syncing, etc.
We manage and support all our infrastructure; therefore, you will only have one point-of-contact should you need any assistance.
Unlimited data retention
As well as being a robust cloud storage service, you can also retain the history of your files for as long as you like. This means you can restore your data from any period in history from 1 day to 10 years. You set your own retention period on your backup sets and we do not force these on you.
All the free services (and a lot of paid services) we have seen, set the retention period on your data at 30 days. This means if you have backed up 31 revisions of a file at a rate of one backup per day, you will only be able to restore your data from 30 days ago.
You can backup and restore your data without any throttling from us. You can set a bandwidth throttle within our software if you want to prevent the backup(s) from consuming all your internet bandwidth.
