The definitions and rules of interpretation in this Clause apply in these terms and Clauses (“Clauses”). “Client” means the party placing an order “Commencement Date” means up to 48 hours after the order has been placed. “DNS” means Domain Name System or Service. “Fees” means all the amounts payable by the Client. “Your portal (use for all correspondence)” BOBcloud portal “Intellectual Property Rights” means all patents, rights to inventions, copyright and related rights, trademarks, service marks, trade, business and domain names, rights in goodwill or to sue for passing off, rights in confidential information (including know-how and trade secrets) and any other intellectual property rights, in each case whether registered or unregistered and including all applications for and renewals or extensions of such rights, and all similar or equivalent rights or forms of protection in any part of the world. “Nominet” are the legal entity who manage all of the .uk domain names relevant to Registrants, Registrars and interested third parties. They also deal with all .uk domain disputes. “Recurring Fees” means the Fees payable monthly. “Supplier“, “We“, “BOBcloud” or “Us” means SCDC Limited, Reg. No. 08461684. “The Order Form” means the initial or any subsequent order placed by the client via email or this website.
Basic terms for registering domains.
We will register or transfer in your .uk domain onto our TAG which is BOBCLOUD. All other domains will be registered with our partner [Heart Internet].
Nominet manage all domains ending in .uk and this is regardless of whoever they are registered with. In addition to our own terms regarding .uk domain registration, transfer and management, you are also governed by Nominet’s own policies. Proof of ownership When registering a domain you must provide your full legal name if registering your domain personally or your full legal company name if registering on behalf of a company. PO box addresses are not acceptable.
If we cannot verify your identity via public records we may request proof in other ways such as utility bill.
Registration, renewal and transfer pricing Clients have the option to set their domains to auto renew or to renew them manually. In either circumstance the Client must ensure they have paid any invoices due before any domain will be registered, renewed or transferred. Failure to do so may result in a domain ownership being lost and purchased by another party.
Domain management You will be able to manage, renew and transfer your domains from within your portal at BOBcloud portal
Registration duration You can register or renew any domain for a period of between 1 and 10 years.
Disputes If a Client disputes the ownership of any domain, we will mediate where necessary in the case of .uk domains with [Nominet]. For all other domains we will involve our own registrar [Heart Internet]. All domain disputes should be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can open a ticket from within your portal. We will respond within one working day or any request.
Abuse Abuse or misuse complaints should be sent via email to email@example.com or you can open a ticket from within your portal. We will respond within one working day of your request.
Complaints about our service If you unhappy with a service they have received from you us, you can contact us by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, open a ticket from within your portal or call us on UK: 0800 907 8238 \ Outside UK: +44 1978 226232. We will respond within one working day of your request.
Support All Support is provided by BOBcloud.net’s own technical staff and we respond to support queries seven days a week. All standard support is provided via email or electronic ticket from our website.
