BOBcloud Free Software Terms

These terms apply to free software and services, and do not replace our main terms that can be found at Cloud backup – BOBcloud
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE:
Definitions used within our software:
Licensor: This is SCDC Limited, trading as BOBcloud.net or BOBcloud.
Reseller, Licensee or Partner: This is you, i.e. our customer.
Customer: Your customer.
Client or Client Device: A physical or virtual device, PC, desktop, laptop or MAC.
- You must create the backup account during the promotion period. This date is shown on the pop-up page you came from.
- You cannot use any free licences for more than 30 days if you have deleted the same type of license in the previous 12 months. This rule is in place to prevent live (paid) accounts from being replaced with free accounts. Contact us if you have a genuine reason to be excluded from this rule.
- Any BOBcloud predefined storage used with the free software will be billed at our standard rate. You can use your storage or any of the thousands of storage destinations our software supports without being invoiced by BOBcloud.
- We will notify you at least twice within the 30 days preceding the expiration of the free 12-month period to inform you that you are entering a paid period and will be billed for the licenses in use.
