Issue
You can search for files to restore, but they aren’t visible in the File Explorer menu.
Cause
The file index is stored in a local file on your desktop or server. Sometimes, this file is out of date or needs re-indexing. When you search for files, the local index file is ignored, and the backed-up data is scanned instead.
Fix
Delete the local index file. When you try to restore the data, it will be rebuilt with the current index.
The file is located in C:\users\username\temp\ %backup set ID%
